My approach to detoxing is a complete and whole body detox, not specific to anyone organ. The body works together and one system affects another so my program is food based primarily. You start by eliminating the obvious toxins from the diet and add in specific foods that encourage detoxification as well as incorporating in daily activities to speed the process along.
It is a great jumpstart to a weight-loss program if that is what you are seeking; however, the benefits far outweigh weight loss. The results are internal and then it trickles down to beautiful skin, more energy, releasing serotonins to improve mood, balance hormones and then of course weight loss.
I schedule a phone or in person consultation to get your history of emotional eating, likes and dislikes, goals and struggles. After the consultation I will create a menu plan specific to you that includes three meals and two snacks for the number of days you choose. I will help with your grocery list and if you are local will meet you at the grocery store to assist with your shopping.
My promise to you is that I will reply with 12 hours to respond to any questions or concerns you may have during the process. After your detox period, depending on how you are feeling and your results are measured, you can either decide to extend the detox period or move to clean eating maintenance recipes.
